Terrorism
"September 11, 2001, a day that will live in infamy" Those were the words of U.S. president George Bush as America witnessed its biggest civilian loss ever. Ever since the tragic World Trade Center collapse on that fated day, the world has become more and more aware of what the developed world likes to call "terrorism". Terrorism is an action or activity with a certain goal, and the intent to achieve that goal through the use of violence, threats, intimidation, and fear. Terrorism can be easily distinguished by its violent acts and its devious goals.
If we look at a terrorist's methods, we can clearly see that they are solely based on evil. A terrorist usually tries to achieve his goals by threatening innocent people's lives. It is as if a war is happening between the terrorists and civilians with only one side shooting. Common terrorist acts include kidnapping, assassination, mass murder, and hostage taking...
