James Gatz, a.k.a. Jay Gatsby, isn't your ordinary rich man. He was a small man with a big dream. Gatsby lives in a mansion in West Egg where every week people from all over come to his parties. He changed his business life, social life, and love life just to set a perfect image. Even though he is a rich important man, Gatsby's life is just an image. It is merely an attempt to make the public eye see him as an important man.
