"The More Factors"
Decade after decade where our economy has been rising with each day goes over all diminishing our competitions, but what is motivating this success and power, Lawrence Shames's essay, "the more factor" exposes the truth behind Americas booming rise of our economy. The essay begins to explain "the more factor", as in more money, land, factor etc. It also talk about this age of greed, and how Americans long for more of everything, it goes on and talks about how Americans been some what backward on the moral values and ambition, there only true goal in life is be coming better and exceed their limit, diminishing their boundaries with their ultimate ambition of "more". The more factor has been apart of our life thought every generation, thus continuing this legacy of self-interest some of the issues discussed in the "more factor" essay are the more factor, how is the more factor elated to the us and Shames Laurence, and finally how America is today.
What are the more factors? Well the more factors are the hunger for more, and searching for values in an age of greed. Hunger for more meaning, the urge of wanting more opportunities, more money, and more land etc. This is an essential part of our history and our character. We as Americans, having the desire for widening our limits and becoming better, want more.
