The Real Truth
The courtroom is silent. The defendant is holding his head in his lap, awaiting the verdict of the jury. Will they let a man who is accused of murder walk free due to a lack of evidence? Or will they postpone the trial to make sure justice is served? These questions should not have to be asked by American citizens today. If the U. S. Judicial System stakes its reputation for being the most just and logical system in the world, then clearly the courts should seek further into the truth, than just what is brought to the table.
