	Nowadays, many people are dying for many untreatable diseases, such as: various cancers, AIDS, and unknown diseases. But pharmacologists are working on those untreatable diseases. Phamacolgists study effects of drugs on biological systems. They develop new treatments, and medicines, also. Pharmacologists are really important for world-society, but it is hard to become a pharmacolgist. The birth date of pharmacology or pharmacologist is unknown. In the early 19th century, physiologists performed many pharmacologic studies. For example, Francois Magendie studied the action of nux vomica on dogs, and showed that the spinal cord was the site of its convulsing action.
