Hate Breeds Hate
"The only thing needed for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing." This quote from Edmund Burke describes so well why hate crime laws are needed in today's society. Historically, society has looked upon hate crime as nothing mare than any other assault crime, but it is so much more. When a crime of this nature is committed, it affects the entire community. As these crimes happened, there arose more and more fear; and the perpetrators only became more and more bold. Now is the time to end the legacies of hate in this world.
