Throughout time, artists have expressed their feelings in many different ways. Each artist has his own perspective on life and it's challenges that it brings along with it. Many artists create art on how suffering fits into peoples everyday life style. Artists from today as well as artists from long ago show very similar pieces when it comes to suffering whether it be in a painting, a poem, a myth, or a song. If one looks closely at a piece he can see the message that is trying to be sent.
In the Greek myth "The Myth of Daedalus & Icarus", one can see the idea that is stressed by this piece. In this piece, Daedalus was a highly respected Athenian artisan from the royal family of Cecrops. Talus once had seen how the shark used its jaws and used that idea to make a saw. This invention made Daedalus feel threatened so he punished Talus. For this crime, Daedalus was exiled to Crete...
