I would like to introduce myself to you. I am the Constitution of the United States. Did you know that before I came into this world (was born or as some say approved), there were almost four months of exhausting debate and arguing between the states about me? ... Conceived at a meeting of delegates from twelve states, I consist of a preamble, seven articles, and amendments. I guess you could say that my main goal in life is to ensure the balance of power between the three branches of government and divide power between the federal government and the states. I intend to protect you and give you individual rights as I state in my original ten amendments. I think that my existence (or birth) has made the United States a much better place in which to live. ... that I would be "a blessing to the people" and make their world a better place.
