Religious Expression Through the Ages
When you hear the words religious expression through the ages of time it can mean many things to different people. A religion can be based on faith of mankind, Paganism, or polytheistic or monotheistic beliefs. Religion is a word that is derived from the Latin word "Religio". (Webster's New World College Dictionary, 1996, p. 936) Through time religion has embraced many cultures together through rituals and customary practice. Evidence has shown that pre-historic man at one time believed that in an afterlife. In this paper I will explain the beliefs of religious expression and what it means to mankind in today's world.
Throughout the ages there have been many different forms of religion. Since the beginning of time man has thought there might be a higher power. Today alone there are over ten thousand (10,000) distinct different religions of which 150 have more than 1 million followers...
