9- Do any allusion enrich the poem's meaning?
Yes, it does. On our researches we have found that "Proud Maisie" is based on a Scotland's folklore concerning a woman who sung the poem on her deathbed. Although, it is not explicit.
10- How does the diction reveal meaning? Are any words repeated? Are there any puns or other forms of verbal wit?
Firstly, in the 1st stanza there is a description of place where "Proud Maisie" is and of the scenery in which "Sweet Robin", the bird, is singing.
In the other stanzas, the poem reveals meaning through a dialogue while sarcastically the bird mocks and criticizes the proud of the woman.
There aren't significant repetitions of words...
