In these two passages by N. S. Momaday and D. Brown, the landscapes are both similar but are protruded differently. By the use of diction, syntax, imaginary, and tone, both of the Native Americans view the landscapes differently. One of then views the landscape full of peace and wonder, by using a proud tone. While the other Native American, views it as a remote, unfertile land, by using a tone of bitterness. The two Native Americans talk about the same landscape with very different views.
The use of imaginary in both the passages are viewed and described in opposite views. In the first passage, the Native American uses the imaginary of the popping of the crickets and the red earth...
