Students learn to drive in China

Leaved the school hastily after finishing the classes, and back to the dormitory late with the tired body----one of my roommate, xiao ying Ca grade three students of GDUT, continuted this state for about two months after she got her driving licence successfully. Thought the training fees dropped to about 2500 yuan,she still accepted it. In the driving school, she learned the basic theory of driving and had at least 86 hours prastice before the final road test. With the encouragement of her, some of the roommates now also decide to learn to drive.
In fact, this is not a special phenomenon any more in the campus. More and more universitiy students,usually the grade three and grade four, mostly from majors such as business management, international trade and english, will spend their spare time in the driving school in order to get the driving licence. Why do they choose the school time to learn to drive? Is it really useful?
As the development of economy and society, the competition between the universitiy students is more and more intense. Familiarity with the operation of computers and fluent English are the basic skills graduating students need to find a job...
