In the pass, organizations were very formal and routine, supervisor was one who directed and inspected the work of others in the immediate work group. Today, in constantly changing condition, directing and inspecting has not been contented any society requirement. Managing today is about working with his staff to achieve result, develops and supports individuals for the work group can deliver better service to customers.
An organization resource includes assets such as people and their skills and knowledge: machinery, raw materials, computers and information technology, and financial capital. Organizational performance is a measure of how efficiently and effectively managers use resources to satisfy customers and achieve organizational goal. Efficiently is a measure of how well or how productively resources are used to achieve a goal. Effectiveness is a measure of the appropriateness of the goals that managers have selected for the organization to pursue and of the degree to which the organization achieve those goals.
Management is the planning, organizing, leading, and controlling of human and other resources to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. All steps are doing in the same time.
