2 MEN AND A WARDROBE

Roman Polanski's "2 Men and a Wardrobe" is a movie on his life as a Jew during the time of the holocaust and the persecution of the Jews. The wardrobe represents everything that most things revolve around.
In the opening scene when the 2 men come out of the water with the wardrobe it symbolizes the birth or the coming into a world with no one knowing what's going to happen.
When the 2 men are walking down the street carrying the wardrobe, they decide to get on the trolley but are not allowed because of the wardrobe. I believe that this represents prejudice back in the war when the Germans killed the Jews for being Jewish.
In scene 3 when you see the shadow on the building, it symbolizes evil of the Germans during the time of the holocaust.
As the two men are walking down the street, they come to a road where it can go left or it can go right. The men choose the road less taken.
The next scene involves the pickpocket of a man who is talking with another man. This means to me that the Germans took away the Jews personal things whenever they wanted...
