Page Decision Reason
A picture of the hamster in the centre it will attract attention to the leaflet as the hamster is looking directly at the camera
bright green writing draw attention to the leaflet and people will want to read it
black dotted boarder around the picture of the hamster also draw attention to the leaflet
word art art makes the writing bold, clear and easy to read from a distance
4 Auto shape hearts as well as filling up empty space, they will attract people to the page and the picture because they surround it
Colouring the writing green makes it bright and exciting
a pink background looks good behind the green word art and makes the background stand out a bit more than it would if it was white
use the picture of the hamster
It was only one with the hamster looking up and at the camera so I thought it would look the best on a front cover of a leaflet as the reader would be looking into the eyes of the hamster.
B typed it in a light pink it kind of matches the front cover (the background) and is bright and cheerful
the background a dark pink The background as dark pink, looks good with the lighter pink text and it coordinates with all the pictures and text
Word art 'Verdana' size 36 & bold, in bright green Using word art will allow a large title to be included to the page. Typing it in green will coordinate with the front cover as well as attract attention. I chose the font 'Verdana', not just because all the text is in Verdana, but because it's easy to read and see from a distance.
I chose the font 'Verdana' in size 10 It's a very attractive font and is easy to read
As it's very clear. Its in size 10 mainly because no other size would either fit all the text on the page or it shrunk and only half filled the double page spread
I chose the picture of the hamster
it looks as though it's crawling across the page, underneath the text
The picture was reversed Reversing the way the picture was made the hamster look as though it should be included on the leaflet, rather than it looking as though it was about to walk off the page
the sub-headings in 'Verdana', size 12, bold and underlined They would stand out from the rest of the text. Underlining them will also make them clear to the reader on what the piece of text is about
I chose the colour blue for the subheadings
it would make it easier for them to be allocated in the text as they are a different colour to the other parts of the information
I inserted this picture of the hamster
so it can fill space and it is a different picture of a different hamster so the reader can see the variety of hamsters
C I chose to do the text in a dark purple it looks good against the pink background and is easy to read
'Verdana' in size 14 and bold
I like the font and it's very clear to read at this size. Making it bold will make it clear that it is an important piece of information
underlined the more important parts of the text so they stand out more to the reader and it will emphasize that they are more important
I chose to use the saved version of the veterinary surgery's address
It looks professional and attractive because it includes their logo and everything else is included that's necessary (telephone number etc).
