The more global and diverse perspective of Canada is celebrated all over the world, by welcoming Canadians gladly into all countries. Canada is socially compassionate, and peacekeepers, not world police. These ideologies that Canadian's exhibits allows for a feeling of safety and tolerability. Canada is accepted and loved by many, however this could be crushed by the more introverted American ideals. Although America has had a huge affect on us, its neighbors, there are still vast differences and these differences we should hold on to strongly. Joining America would mean that Canada would become American, rather than united as one and with this slant America would swallow our nation. The only reason as to why these two countries should merge are for business propositions, rather than the betterment for North America. As Canadian's we have a far-contrasted way of running things around here.
Our public healthcare represents one of the major differences we have in Canada. Opposite systems of taking care of the sick is one reason as to why Canada should not join the United States...
