Drinking and Driving is a serious problem. Thousands of people die each year due to the increaseing number of drunk drivers on the road. Did you know that on average that one in every four drivers on the road are drunk after 4:oopm. Have you ever went to a party with some friends and drank and then drove home well that is unwise decision because your not only putting your life in danger but your friends lifes and also the lives of innocent drivers on the road. I am not going to lie i have been dunk and drove before but i vow to my self and the innocent lives of other i will never do it again. Friends can have affect on our decisions even though many teens will say that that can make there own decisions this is not always true. So the next time that your at a party rember tonight if i don't drink and drive i will be able to say that i did my best to try to keep my life and the lifes of the innocent peopleout of danger. I once read a poem that included a girl that was hit by a drunk driver and it was very upsetting. It was in the form as if she were telling the story from her point of view but the poem was from a mother that had lost a daughter due to a person driving home drunk. If you got into a car and hit someone else and killed them because your decided to be irresponsible would you be able to live with yourself...
