On July 1, 1949 a man by the name of Antonio Rochin was suspected of selling narcotics. Three Los Angeles police deputies were sent to Rochin's home. As they approached the house they saw that the back door was open and the depuites just went in. at the time Rochin was in his room with the door closed. The three deputies forced open the door and went for Rochin. As the three deputies went in to his room they spotted two capsules, and one of the deputies said, "Whose stuff is this?" right when the deputy said that Rochin quickly grabbed the capsules and put it in his mouth to swallow it. At this point all three deputies jumped on Rochin and a struggle took place, but Rochin's attempts to swallow the capsules were successful. The three deputies took Rochin to a hospital and a doctor put a tube down his throat so he can vomit; this was all done against Rochin's will. When the doctor put the tube down his throat Rochin vomited out the two capsules; the capsules contained morphine and cocanie...
