Dear Want-to-know,
It is extravagant that you at least think you are in love. On the other hand, I have to agree with your mom in some way. "Puppy love" can also be interpreted as infatuation. Infatuation is having an unreasonable passion for someone or attraction. Love is a deep feeling of attraction to a person that arises from kinship. Kinship meaning the two lovers has a really strong relationship. People often have a really difficult time trying to find the difference of these two words because everyone is fooled by infatuation.
You have probably heard the phrase "love at first site" Was that how you felt with Bruce? If it was, that was total infatuation...
