The vital evolution and beginnings of Martial Arts began as early as the emergence of the first civilizations. Various investigations on the origins of Martial Arts have found evidenced that there were even a style of Martial Arts found in Mesopotamia, which emerged even before the Chinese civilization. The techniques used in Mesopotamia are still evident in modern day Martial Arts, in the kicks and punches used.
