Christmas is a time of caring, sharing and giving, but most of all the birth of a newborn Savior, Jesus Christ. To celebrate, families gather together for dinners, attend mass and give gifts to one another. Another tradition is decorating with beautiful lights that radiantly brighten up the night sky whether they are on a house or on a Christmas tree. Everywhere there are scenes of religious displays and joyous events to observe. For spectators to enjoy all the creative traditions of the holidays, it takes a person a lot of time and effort to organize every little feature. Although it all pays off in the end, this can be a rather hectic time of the year.
There is a reason why the Christmas season is my favorite holiday of the year. I love to gather with family, and to see all the cheerfulness in each and every one of their smiles and actions. The excitement all starts during finals week of school. I study, study, study all week long anticipating the light at the end of the tunnel, which is Christmas break!..
