Signal transudation describes the process of conversion of external signals, such as hormones, growth factors, neurotransmitters, and cytokines, to a specific internal cellular response, such as gene expression, cell division, or even cell suicide. HIV attaches to the cell Like computer code, viruses can't do much by themselves. While computer code needs to get into a microprocessor, viruses need to get into a living cell. Then, and only then, can viruses do their dirty work of subverting cell machinery for their own purposes? By altering the signals being sent by the process of signal transudation you can reverse the process of Aids infection there for creating a cure for this horrible illness.
"A human gene named ATR normally protects people by preventing the replication of cells damaged by radiation or toxic chemicals. Now, Utah and New York researchers have discovered how a gene in the AIDS virus hijacks the human gene and turns it into a weapon that prevents reproduction of immune-system white blood cells, leaving AIDS patients vulnerable to deadly infections and cancer."
That is an example of how singal transduction could help find cures for many illness. As shown in the acticle above most illness are triggered by false signals being sent from cell to cell by being able to control these signal and alter their meaning we have total control of the body and the illnesses within it.
