Pottery Assignment

Introduction
As part of my first year as an Occupational Therapy student I have been set a task whereby I must complete an assignment in pottery, thus helping me to pass this technique on to future clients/patients. In order to fully understand the talk at hand one must write up all the stages, which took place during the six hours of practical work.
The Stages of completing my pottery project.
1. Having been carefully explained to about the safety aspects of pottery the task of kneading the earth and ware clay began. Through the use of "ox-head" kneading one was able to flatten the clay, thus making it more manageable.
2. One also learned how to wedge the clay before easily rolling it out flat with a rolling pin.
3. Having done this it was then time for the moulding to take place...
