In recent times, gun control has become a hot issue for our nation's legislators. I am against strict gun control. Our country, of course, needs some gun control, including gun safety laws. These laws ensure that a man's gun doesn't fall into the wrong hands, or go off accidentally. They include keeping locks on guns not being used and keeping them in places kids can't get to. We need these laws, and they should never be done away with. But the government has no right to go any further than that. The second amendment to the constitution clearly states that all men have the right to bear arms. If one has the correct licenses and carries and stores his guns properly, then there is no reason his gun should be taken away from him.
