Conversations have a considerable impact on people's lives. Although some conversations mean nothing there are others that capture you. Serious conversations can be filled with many emotions like love and compassion, and on the other hand hate and envy. Through conversations you can find out the best thing you've ever heard, or the worst. The purpose of this essay is for me to show you how conversations really effect people's lives through specific examples in literature.
The first novel is A Christmas Carol written by Charles Dickens. The protagonist in this story is a man named Ebenezer Scrooge. Throughout the beginning of the novel Dickens shows us how much of a notorious "humbug" Scrooge is. He is an older man who so no warmth or compassion, and is disliked by mostly everyone.
