Native Americans vs. Today
Today's culture and the yester-years of the Indian culture may not be to far off
from being alike. The world on the turtles back is a story written by the Native
Americans that is not too different from the bible. The great tree in the sky world could
be compared with the tree of knowledge in the Garden of Eden. The sky world could be
compared to heaven, and the daughter could be related to Jesus. The Indian culture is an
entirely different culture, but there beliefs may not be that far off from ours.
For instance, in the story there was a tree that was called the great tree. This tree
had all the fruits, and all the vegetables, and all the plants that the world holds now.
When the woman wants some of this tree, it tears a hole in sky world and the woman falls
through. In the bible, there also is a tree, the name was called the tree of knowledge...
