It was the evening of one of the most important events in my life, and the weather was uncooperative. Thunder and lightning raced across the sky and were determined to doom this wonderful event. I questioned the fact that this occasion would be postponed, and then I realized that it couldn't. The day started off great and the weather was beautiful as my friends and I practiced for the upcoming occurrence. Before we knew it, practice had ended and it seemed as though the clock was ticking and counting down the minutes and hours before the event. During the day I had a pleasant gathering with friends and shared many great memories. My family came in and also shared in congratulating me on an accomplishment. Then, out from nowhere came gray skies and heavy rain. Thunder rolled and streets began to flood as people worried if it would have an effect later that night. As soon as it was time to leave, miraculously the skies began to clear and the rain stopped...
