At 10:30 p.m. on June 8, 1810, in Zwickau, a talented composer was born. His name was Robert Schumann. He was the fifth child of August and Johanna, his parents.
In 1818, he began piano lessons with Herr Kuntsch. After that, in 1820, he gave his first presentation in public. On 1822 he wrote his first piece of music (Psalm 150), which is an overture for chorus and opera with instrumentation. In 1825, he found a literary club, Litterarischer Verein, with 10 other Lyceum peers.
In 1826, his father died...
