Justice is treating and behaving fairly to others. In Shakespeare's "King Lear", Justice is directly linked to one's fate and deeds. Justice has the relationship that you do onto others as you would want them to do onto you. The justice that King Lear and Gloucester received was quite justified, as it was their own decisions that had affected their fate. But that does not happen that consistently. Cordelia on the other hand, who was humble and realistic, received unjust reward, her fate wasn't justified at all and so justice wasn't served in her case. Justice and fate are influenced by the decisions that the character makes in the coarse of the play. These decisions that King Lear, Gloucester and Cordelia made affected the Justice they received and their fate in the play.
The first wrong decision that Lear makes is surrendering all his power and land to his daughters as a reward for their demonstration of love towards him,
"Give me the map there
Know that we have divided
In three our kingdom, and 'tis our fast intent
To shake all cares and business from our age,
Conferring them on younger strengths
.
Which of you shall we say doth love us most,
That we our largest bounty may extend
Where nature doth with merit challenge"
