Ever since our youth we have been fascinated with heroes. We have looked up to them, and admired their amazing courage, bravery, and abilities. We have experienced different types of heroes, such as a fireman, police officer, or even fictional characters like ninja turtles, power rangers, and superman. Heroes don't necessarily have to have amazing powers that allow them to fly, leap tall buildings in a single leap, or supernatural strength; but, what lies within. That characteristic is common in all heroes we love and cherish. For example, the three examples of the usage of hero include famous literary works such as "The Natural", a novel that involves a fallen hero by the name of Roy Hobbs, Ulysses a character in an epic poem about an aged hero reflecting upon his youth and the victories he has accomplished, and the novel "Beowulf", which is about a beast-slayer by the name of Beowulf, who has the strength of thirty men and is virtually invincible in his youth. In each of those works the definition of a hero is evident. For example, the poem Ulysses tells about an aged mythological hero from "The Odyssey." Ulysses, the main character in the poem, tells about his experiences in his life, and all of his accomplishments. He reflects on his life and feels that even though he is old he still feels that there is much more in life to be explored and experienced...
