"Glub, Glub, Glub" he said to the angry man. "for I am an octopus and my darling, im hungry."
"take two steps back from the line in the sand"
said the hungry octopus to the angry young man.
the octopus was wise and he could think very well. the angry young man made the small mistake of dreaming, and to the octopus he said:
"Life's for sitting and thinking and smelling"
no "lifes for success and working and dwelling
on things that may or may not come about,
if you work hard you'll figure it out "
Voice over (Joe): Well this woman who came upon the shop today was none other than Gerald's third wife, her name was Eva Rose Westerner. Being a woman from the south she was what one might call a "tough cookie".
(Camera shots back and fourth with Eva sitting crossed legged, now out of frustration picking up a magazine, tapping her foot rapidly in irritation. And Gerald who has now left the bathroom and comes out fidgeting with one of his pairs of clippers.)
Gerald: (coldly, not looking at Eva) Hello Eva
Eva: Hi Gerald.
(Screen pauses, voice over starts, slides to Joe, still at the chair, in bullet time like fashion, in fast motion he goes from freeze to thinking, on the line, "we all knew the story it zooms into his head, then fades into new pictures...
