A Good Look into the Catholic Church
The first and last time that I attended a Catholic mass was at the age of eight with my babysitter. I still remember everything vividly, perhaps from all the nightmares it gave me. It took me a long time to get over how boring it seemed and the embarrassment of having to go in front of everyone and do the little sign thing that they have to do, before drinking some wine that was in a big bottle (part of communion). I remember my first time going up to the front to receive communion, I kept asking my friend how you do that sign thing again (father, son holy spirit). Now I have a bit more knowledge of the catholic religion and realized that I wasn't even suppose to participate in it because I haven't been through all the classes and process of becoming a true Catholic. Perhaps my first time experience of the Catholic Church is why I have never attended mass again until last Saturday.
