Executive Summary
Pronto Pizza owner, Tony Jr., is facing a problem with significant competition. A new pizza company has come to town and offers a 30 minute pizza delivery guarantee. Tony has already begun to see the pressure and has noticed a recent downfall in sales. To compete with this new company Tony is considering offering the same delivery guarantee, but within a 29 minute range to undercut the other companys 30 minute guarantee.
Team Three analyzed a random sample of deliveries and developed a data pool. We looked at a number of factors including day of the week, hour of the day, time required to prepare the order, wait time, travel time, and distance.
Background
Named for its owner, Antonios Restaurant is a long time family owned pizza restaurant in upstate New York. Recently, Antonios son Tony Jr graduated from college and decided to take over the restaurant.
