Students will:
1. Reflect on what they might do if they learned of plans for student violence in their school.
2. Learn about how a group of students' plan for school violence was averted at a Massachusetts high school
by reading and discussing the article "Student Charged in Plot She Warned About."
3. Brainstorm possible warning signs of violent behavior; develop scenarios that demonstrate how these
warning signs might be exhibited.
4. Create a list of actions and resources that could be employed to avert violence in schools.
5. Develop a guidebook for students titled "Confronting School Violence: An Action Plan for Students...
