HYPOTHESIS:
As the catalase concentration is increased, the rate of reaction of 2H202 Þ 2H2O + 02 will also increase
INDEPENDENT VARIABLE:
The independent variable for this experiment is the concentration of catalase (potato slices)
The following varying concentrations will be tested:
Each slice of potato will be 2mm thick
The quantity of 2mm slices will vary in each of the 10 experiments as shown below:

The dependent variable for this experiment will be the rate of reaction as measured by the amount of gas produced using a burette.
