Sam and Frodo The Perfect Team

The two characters, Sam and Frodo, in the Lord of the Rings books by J.R.R. Tolkien, make a good example of the popular saying "opposites attract". Sam and Frodo are entirely different hobbits but even though all these differences exist, they make the perfect team. These two hobbits have many different personalities, emotions, and actions throughout the Lord of the Rings books, and these actions do not tear them apart, but just bring them closer together.
Throughout the three books, Sam and Frodo's personalities greatly fluctuate. At the beginning of story, Sam is a sweetheart and tries hard to stay kind. He always wants help, and when he does something wrong, it seems as if his cheeks immediately turn bright red. For example, when Sam is caught listening to Frodo and Gandalf's discussions about the ring, he is really embarrassed and regrets he did eavesdropped on the important discussion...
