I spent a good amount of time searching on the Internet for an article for this assignment. To my surprise, thousands of articles have been written and are available simply on the subject of relationships, which just goes to show how not simple the whole process is. I read threw several articles that all basically recounted different specific instances that people encountered during relationships and the things they learned from them. Although I did find these articles interesting, I decided that they were not the type of articles that I wanted to use for this project. I came to this conclusion for several reasons. First, I found that I was unable to relate to many of the situations and relationships in the articles. Second, I found many of the articles just too specific. Whether they focused on marriage, parent to child relationships, interracial relationships, or spiritual relationships, the articles did not seem like something that could apply to and help everyone. Finally, I found an article which I feel almost everybody can learn from. The ideas and theories this article discusses applicable and relevant to many different styles of relationships in various situations, ultimately, making it my choice...
