Good Will Hunting
Will Hunting, is an unusually brilliant, but hardened and tough 20 year-old street kid surviving in the slums of South Boston. His victim identity was solidified in his childhood when he was brutally and repeatedly beat by his foster father. Will then calcified a heavy layer of protection, covering over an inner frightened child who refuses to take certain, specific risks in life for fear of things going bad.
Will is an anxious type of person, and out of touch with his senses of inner knowing and confidence. He had problems trusting his own mind, so he looks outside to make him feel sure of himself. He looks at his job as a security structure and his relationship (all be it a short one). He could find several security structures, but will still feel doubtful and anxious. There is a strong repeated attempt on Will's part to deny that. An example of this would be his attempt to have a girlfriend. Will, could also be bipolar because of his tough, competent, challenging side that is presented to the public...
