Go Ask Alice is a horrifying true story about a young teenage girl who is lured into a world of drugs. After her first time of experiencing being high at a party she can never go with out drugs and makes many bad decisions through out the rest of her life. She meets many deceitful and true friends and realizes the importance of her family. There are few people who take her seriously and forgive her past where as there are many people who try and keep her at their level and threaten the future of herself and family.
Practically everything she does and thinks gets written down in a diary which could look much like your own childs.

As the girls younger brother they do not seem to get along, much like other teenage siblings. He is unaware of her drug history and overall they do not talk much. Towards the end of the story they tend to go on long walks and discuss more about their lives. They begin to get close and as Tim slowly finds out her past he learns not to make the mistakes himself...
