Throughout a person's life, there is always a time when they need to break away and becoming independent surges through their mind. Many who do find it are overwhelmed, yet others are hailed to the newfound freedom. People who embark on a new phase in life with a change in surroundings while making the change from the teen years to an adult are the ones who, sadly, have to break free and become independent. It happens not because they want to, but because they need to. It will ultimately determine how they will adapt to their new surroundings or if they will stay where they are and live it out as it was.
Growing up, the yearning for independence awoke deep within my adolescence and it became evident to everyone around me. When I was eleven my college plans were drawn out and my search for my future career began. I knew college my town was NOT for me. The independence bug bit me. All of a sudden, I started to look at my life without outside help...
