1. How would you describe the basis for South Korea's attractiveness to international investors?
International Investors are motivated to internationalize because of the attractiveness of the foreign market. Such attractiveness includes, broadly, the relative profitability and growth prospect. Sources of raw materials in plenty at affordable rates, availability of cheap labor and technically skilled persons, land in strategic location easy access to rail, road and airways. Never the less, investment by MNC's in developing countries has been mainly due to increased mobility of capability and technology and lowering of trade baronies and improvement in communication system.
It is also worth noting that Korea represents an increasingly attractive consumer market in and of itself. This has helped to give additional depth and strength to its economy.
