Analysis Of a Tabloid Newspaper
I understand the term tabloid newspaper as an A4 sized newspaper, which is funnier than bigger broadsheet newspapers, they have lots of celebrity gossip, sport news and working class people read them. The tabloid that I have chosen to study is the Daily Mirror. Its on Friday the 16th of may 2003 and the price is 32p. The main news events of that day are Paul McCartney's wife says she's not a gold digger and a father was killed by his pet dog.
On the front of the newspaper there is a big picture of Heather McCartney. The news item that is on the front page, which draws my attention, is the one about Heather McCartney.
