The Novel “Of Mice and Men” reminds me of how blessed I am to have true friends. George made a big huge decision to end the pain of his friend, Lennie. Though I know that he doesn’t want to do it, but knowing that the others might hurt Lennie and killed his only family is just painful for him to think about it so he did what he think is right. He ended the pain and suffering of Lennie. George really cares about Lennie; he took good care of him since Lennie’s aunt Clara’s death. He complains a lot but Lennie knows he doesn’t mean what he said. George can live without Lennie, but I know he will feel the loneliness inside. Lennie cant live without George because of his condition. They both needed each other because I know that a man cannot live alone. Though, for every complains of George. It only made Lennie realized that someone is always there for him.
