Whenever I have brought abortion up in polite conversation, it has turned into an all out debate on what is morally correct for one person or another. It’s hard for anyone to understand my views if they have never had a personal connection to abortion, but I have. My aunt had an abortion recently and it was one of the most trying times in her and the rest of the families lives. She was in fact anti-abortion and thought that all abortions should be illegal and that they are never needed. ... Abortion should be a decision between a woman and her doctor, it should never be in politics or governmental races. ... Now when the right to have an abortion in your best interests comes up, it becomes everyones public knowledge of what your conditions are. ... But this is not considered abortion, if there is to be a banning on all abortions than this should be banned also. ...
The topic of abortion should always be out of the government and should never be a political issue. ... Almost everyone in this nation has a religion, and most religions drill their thoughts on abortion into your minds at very young ages when you can’t think for yourself yet. It is considered a sin and that you will go to hell if you believe that an abortion should be taken into consideration for an option during a pregnancy much less have one. ... We do not now, if you decide to take into consideration the facts you shall see that women do not go into an abortion lightly it’s a long and rigorous decision process that women need to make themselves.
