Collecting and Checking Data
Introduction
In this assignment I intend to examine the research in relation to collecting and checking data. In particular I will utilise the research to explain the pros and cons of using data in spreadsheets, forms and everyday usage. I will also explain how data can be used in an effective way to store information about people and other aspects.
Collecting Data
Collecting data must be specified in a certain way. Not enough data could lead to a useless form and too much data could lead to confusion or the form will become congested.
Leading to a good form you must include-
Headings-which should simplify things and tell you what the form is about. If however headings are not included this could mix up the form and information could not be under the right title. I.E If Twynam Leisure centre were to use the heading of their form, job Description and there was no heading, members could fill in anything about themselves.
