Religion has always been an important part of my life, however science has always been a huge interest of mine. My family has always been the religious type. Speedwell, TN is where I have lived all of my life. It is a simple place yet most are old fashioned and has strong religious beliefs. My father was a preacher when I was a young child and my mother was always involved in the church in some way. So for as long as I can remember I have always thought of as God being the creator of all. Even though I still believe this with all of my heart, there are still other aspects of life that come into play such as the theories of science.
When I was a child I attended a private Christian school until the 4th grade everything that the school taught was in the Christian aspect. So for many years I was taught strictly that any scientific theories were wrong. I transferred to a public school in the 4th grade and a whole new meaning came to the word science...
