family life in China is very different from family life in other countries. when we say different we mean the size of the family and the relationship of the members within the family. in China, children live with their parents even after they get married, so a household consisting of three generations is still quite common.in china, it is still the duty of the young people to take care of their elderly parents.
chinese families pride themselves on their hospitalities. the family gather togehther to celebrate holidays often and entertain friends. the household is always open to visitors who can drop in or friends and relatives withou previous invitation.
chinese families are unified. each member of the family contributes to household duties, including the children. families tend to socialize togehther, with several generations gathering around the television in the evening...
