Developing Physical Fitness
Physical fitness can be developed through exercising, eating healthy foods, and getting plenty of rest and sleep. The body needs regular exercise and the right foods to stay healthy. Every person should have a definite plan for maintaining his physical fitness. These three guidelines are the key to getting in shape.
Exercise means activity and movement. Doing something that gets the heart pumping and the body sweating is exercise. Many high school students exercise as part of a school Physical Education program or to train as a sport. Exercise improves physical fitness in three ways, endurance, muscle strength, and flexibility.
