Are advances in technology making us more efficient, or just creating more barriers to entry for the average person?
I believe that advances in technology makes some people more efficient then others but at the same time creates barriers for some. Todays technology makes the younger generations more efficient than older generations. With this same technology, it creates barriers for the older generations. ...
Anyways, to get back to my point, since I grew up learning this technology, I and others my age, are more efficient then older generations, like my parents and grandparents. We find it easier to accept and learn the newest computer programs and technology because the ground work has already been laid. They are based on the technology we have already learned. ... Instead of having to train existing "baby boomers" who dont know the technology, companies can just hire younger, more efficient workers for a cheaper prices. ...
