Dr. Barbara Fougere believes a natural diet makes a happy pet but how many people actually make the choice to go all-natural? According to manager Susan of Buckeye feed natural food promotes healthy pets and you can see a noticeable difference in your animals. Most animal lovers want the best for their animals so why not help them become healthier.
Commercial feed, what does it contain? In some ways commercial feed is not all that bad but there are a few glitches. Commercial feed does have some good ingredients but there are a lot of ingredients that a horse would not naturally find. Such as oats, corn, barley, soy, beet pulp, vitamin and mineral supplements, molasses, grain byproducts, and mineral supplements (because they have been cured), all of these ingredients have been given to horses by man. A foraging horse does not come across barley, oats, and corn even though these things are found in the wild.
When the minerals have been cured they lose their value and do not have the same effect on the horse compared to if they were given the uncured, unprocessed, or raw minerals...
